How does this work legally? Do I need customer consent?
Yes. When a customer enters their phone number at checkout and completes the purchase flow, they're considered to have consented to store communications. We auto-add "Reply STOP to unsubscribe" to every message and process opt-outs instantly.
Won't my WhatsApp number get banned?
Only if you spam 1000 strangers. We protect you: messages only to customers who abandoned a cart on YOUR store (not lists), 8 AM - 10 PM send window, smart daily limits, and instant STOP detection. In practice, no keepo! customer has been banned.
How long until I see results?
You'll see the first recovered cart within 24 hours of install. On average, a store with 100 abandoned carts/month recovers 12-20 of them via keepo! — an extra $1,000-5,000 in monthly revenue.
What WhatsApp account do I need?
Any regular WhatsApp number works. No WhatsApp Business API needed (which costs thousands). We use Green Connectors as our provider — you just scan a QR once.
What happens if the customer replies?
The reply goes straight to your phone — we don't intercept. That's the beauty: you can talk to the customer like a friend.
Is there Klaviyo integration?
On the Scale tier, yes. Segments sync automatically. On lower tiers, you use keepo!'s built-in segments: new customer, returning, VIP, large/small cart, registered-no-purchase.
What if I want to stop paying?
Cancel anytime, one click from the app. You can keep using until the end of the month you paid for, then your account is suspended (data kept 90 days in case you return).
