No. The script is small, loads after content, and waits for the trigger.

Can club members see a different popup?

Yes. Logged-in members never see a join popup, and popups can target by page and segment.

What about GDPR / anti-spam law?

Consent is collected explicitly and stored. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, honored across channels.
